Eat Drink Local Week

What is Eat Drink Local Week?

Eat Drink Local Week takes place for one week every December. In an attempt to spread awareness of local food and sustainable farming, Edible Austin organizes a series of events throughout the week that bring together the Austin community around responsibly sourced food. Eat Drink Local Week is an annual benefit for nonprofits Sustainable Food Center and Urban Roots.

Each Eat Drink Local Week includes a Speaker Series on sustainable food. Past speakers include:
Will Allen (2013), Raj Patel (2012), Wes Jackson and Wendell Berry (2011), Michael Pollan (2010) and more!
