Prosciutto Plain-Jane

  • 1 piece(s) untoasted fresh baguette
  • 2 tablespoons good butter
  • 3 slices prosciutto, thinly cut

Crip Plain-Jane

  • 1 thin sliced toasted baguette
  • 2 tablespoons Pure Luck Dairy’s June’s Joy
  • 4 thin slices of pear
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 basil leaves
  • Fresh ground pepper

Two Not-so-plain-Jane Tartines Directions

  1. For the Prosciutto Plain-Jane:
  2. Top one side of the baguette with a generous swipe of good butter, then pile on thin slices of prosciutto—simple, delicious and timeless.
  3. For the Crip Plain-Jane:
  4. Or for a refreshing and crisp tartine, start with thin-sliced baguette toasted long and low to dry out the bread.
  5. Generously spread the pieces with Pure Luck Dairy’s June’s Joy, then add thinly sliced pears, a drizzle of local honey, a twist or two from the pepper mill and fresh basil leaves for garnish.
