Kale with Spirulina

  • 2 bunches kale
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons black pepper
  • tablespoons spirulina (fresh water blue-green algae)
  • 1 Hemp seeds

Kale with Spirulina Directions

  1. Stem, rinse and dry the kale. Tear the leaves into bite-size pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the olive oil, vinegar, avocado, salt and pepper. Slowly massage the ingredients into the kale, squeezing and mixing by hand for 1 to 2 minutes. All leaves should be coated with the mixture.
  3. Add the spirulina and massage again, making sure it’s fully incorporated. Let sit for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve sprinkled with hemp seeds and seasonal toppings of choice.
