Sweet Tooth

  • 1 chunk of peeled Comice pear, or similar
  • 1 ounces Treaty Oak Rum
  • 1/2 ounces Demerara or dark rum
  • 1/4 ounces Becherovka (a Czech amaro. You could substitute another amaro such as Cynar.)
  • 1/2 ounces Mexican Vanilla Agasweet (a flavored agave nectar made in Austin and available at the Sunset Valley Farmers’s market and agaweet.com)

Sweet Tooth Directions

  1. Muddle agave nectar and pear flesh in the bottom of a mixing glass.
  2. Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of fresh pear.
