he Galveston Island Wild Texas Shrimp Festival includes a Shrimp Gumbo Cook-off with over 80 teams including local restaurants competing in the Restaurant Division, an Official 5K race on Galveston’s Beachfront, Boat Show, Lil’ Shrimps Children’s Parade, Vendors, Live Music and more!

Dig-ins are our primary mission. This is when teams of volunteers go to garden sites and either install a new garden or clean up an existing one. No experience is needed to be a volunteer and you do not need to do anything in advance. Groups are welcome and feel free to bring your children, but we ask that you accompany them at all times.

The Downtown Georgetown Association presents its 10th Annual Georgetown Wine and Music Festival located in ‘The Most Beautiful Square in Texas." Purchased tickets will provide guests a souvenir glass and punch card to taste all participating vineyards/wineries plus 1 bonus tasting of the guest’s choosing. Participating wineries include Georgetown Winery, Grape Creek Vineyard, and more. Live music all day including Avery Logan, Mike Hamilton, and more to be announced.
