Kimberly Lanski and JP Gremillion, owners of Buddha’s Brew, will discuss the basic process and all equipment needed for the home producer. Kombuchas first recorded use was in China in 200 BC called the “Drink of Immortality”. Many species of beneficial bacteria and fungi along with helpful gut enzymes, actually created by the organisms, greatly increase digestive health.

In this session, see the cheesemaking process from milk to the final tasty product at our class with local raw cheesemaker Dos Lunas Cheese. Owner Joaquin Avellan will walk us through the history of cheese, and how the aging process works.

Dumplings can be filled with almost anything, and this class will focus on traditional flavors with a local, seasonal twist. Class participants will learn step-by-step how to make dumplings, and leave feeling inspired to make them at home. Tye will demonstrate both meat-based and vegetarian fillings, and you will make dumpling dough to take home with you.

Classes are conducted in a casual and informal style. These events are like a fun dinner party in a good friends kick butt kitchen! All ingredients are ready and available and our friendly and helpful staff will be there to do ALL of the clean up. All Students and Spec-tators dine together at the end of class. This class includes Roasted Beet Arugula Salad with Orange Thyme Vinaigrette Hazelnuts and Blue Cheese, Pear-Pistachio-Parmesan Pastry, Roasted Pork Loin with Orange Dijon Glaze and more.
