CTFB Distribution for Federal Employees (Wed. 16 Jan, 2019 9:00 am - 5:00 pm)

central tx food bankCTFB Distribution for Federal Employees

Wednesday, January 16th

The Central Texas Food Bank is concerned about how the federal government shutdown is affecting everyone, in particular the tens of thousands of Central Texas federal employees who suddenly find themselves in need. Due to the special circumstances resulting from the federal government shutdown, we realize that many people who have never accessed our services may now need to. To help them navigate this difficult time, we’ll be holding a special distribution here at the Central Texas Food Bank. In addition to distributing food, we’ll have a resource fair, so furloughed workers can get more information on all the ways they can access food through our network, and find out about other programs that may be able to help them in their time of need.
