Chorizo stuffed Mushrooms


For 4 Person(s)


  • 20 large Kitchen Pride White (Button) Mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
  • 1/2 pounds high quality Mexican chorizo
  • 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated hard cheese, such as Veldhuizen Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

Chorizo stuffed Mushrooms Directions

  1. Arrange the cleaned mushrooms on a baking dish.  Preheat the oven to 350. 
  2. In a bowl, combine the chorizo, breadcrumbs, cheese, thyme and garlic and mix well.  Divide the mixture between the mushrooms, filling the caps. 
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the sausage mixture is browned and bubbling.  Serve hot or room temperature.
