Ocha Zuke Broth


For 1 Batch(es)


  • 4 ounces (or more) water
  • 1/4 ounces green tea
  • 1/2 ounces hon dashi
  • 8 ounces cooked rice
  • 1 Kosher salt to taste
  • 1 pinches radish sprouts
  • 1 pinches bonito flakes
  • 1 scallion, julienned
  • 1/4 sheet of nori, sliced into very thin strips

Ocha Zuke Broth Directions

  1. Heat water on medium-low. Add tea and dashi and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and strain into a bowl with a scoop of rice. Season to taste with salt. Garnish with radish sprouts, bonito flakes, scallions and nori.
