Ruby Red Grapefruit Cocktail with Rosemary

  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 cups water
  • 1/2 cups rosemary branches


  • 1 ruby red grapefruit, juiced
  • 1/2 cups Treaty Oak white rum
  • 1 tablespoons rosemary simple syrup
  • crushed ice
  • rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Ruby Red Grapefruit Cocktail with Rosemary Directions

  1. Make the syrup: Place the sugar and water in a small saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the rosemary and infuse for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Strain and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
  4. Make the cocktail: Combine the grapefruit juice, rum and rosemary syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a glass filled with the crushed ice and garnish with a rosemary sprig.
