Serves about 12-15

Super easy

Lady Lavender Punch

For 1 Batch(es)

  • 3 lemons, peeled
  • 1 cups sugar (preferably Sugar in the Raw)
  • cups double-strength Zhi Tea Lady Lavender White Tea
  • 1 cups fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 750 mL Waterloo Texas-style gin
  • 5 pounds ice block

Lady Lavender Punch Directions

  1. A day in advance, use a swivel-handled vegetable peeler to carefully remove the peel from 3 lemons. Reserve the lemons for juicing.
  2. Combine the lemon peel and sugar in a container large enough to hold the entire recipe, mix well, cover and allow to sit overnight.
  3. Brew the Lady Lavender White Tea by doubling the quantity of tea and allowing to steep for 20 minutes.
  4. Strain out the tea solids, pour the still-warm tea over the sugar and lemon peel mixture and stir to dissolve the sugar.
  5. Before serving, stir the lemon juice and gin into the tea and sugar mixture and pour into a punch bowl with the ice block to cool for about 30 minutes.
  6. Ladle into tea cups to serve.
