Hog or Mexican plums ripen in the early fall, and can be found along creeks or rivers. Wild plums tend to be small and tart, so harvest at least two per guest and don’t skimp on the honey drizzle!

Super easy

2 Wild Mexican or hog plums
Honey
Whipped cream (optional)

Baked Wild Plums Directions

Cut the plums in half and pull out the seeds.

Place the plum halves in a baking dish, cut side up, and drizzle generously with honey.

Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Serve plain or with a dollop of freshly whipped cream.
