These biscuits highlight the slightly bitter taste of acorn meal. If your guests aren't thrilled about the bitter flavor, offer them butter, honey or wild fruit jam to spread on top.

Acorn Biscuits
1 cups acorn flour
1 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons cold butter
1/4 cups yogurt
1/2 cups milk
Acorn Biscuits Directions
Mix flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a bowl.
Cut the butter into the flour mixture.
Mix the yogurt and milk together in a bowl, then add to the dry ingredients and stir a few strokes until dough forms.
Knead the dough five to six times, then roll or press onto a flat surface.
Cut biscuits with a round biscuit cutter and place, with edges touching, on a baking sheet.
Bake at 450º for 10–12 minutes.
