1 1/3 pounds peaches
1/2 cups water
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 cups sour cream
1 cups heavy cream
1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
A few drops of fresh lemon juice
1/4 cups mint leaves, finely chopped
Jam Sanitchat’s Minty Peach Ice Cream Directions
Peel the peaches and cut into chunks. Boil in water over medium-low heat, covered, for 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat, stir in the sugar and cool to room temperature.
Combine the peaches and the rest of the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator and freeze in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
