James Beard Recognized Chef Chris Maher Cooking Class at Mystic Sky Ranch
Chef Chris Maher is a nationally acclaimed, James Beard recognized chef and his most recent restaurant, which he sold in 2006, was awarded the AAA Four Diamond award of excellence 7 consecutive years, prior to it’s sale. Chris operates Cooking Studio Taos with his wife Valerie. They specialize in high-end events, culinary travel to destinations across the globe, pop-up monthly dinners, private chef services, and consulting as well as their full-time culinary school in Taos, New Mexico.
Chef will be teaching a Mediterranean hands-on cooking class ending with a beautiful meal of all you’ve created together. He will be teaching a variety of recipes from Greece, Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt. Menu details forthcoming.
Our cooking classes are 100% hands on participation and learning covering a wide variety of cuisines. The length of each class is 4 hours, and all levels of cooks are welcome! At the end of each class, the group will sit down and enjoy the food you have prepared together. Students have fun and walk away having learned recipes, technique and theory.
