Garlic Shrimp

This simple Aegean recipe takes fewer than 10 minutes to prepare and fewer than 10 minutes to cook.

Super easy

24 large Gulf shrimp
1/4 cups olive oil
1/4 cups butter
5 garlic cloves, chopped or crushed
1 tablespoons (or more) mild, smoky paprika
2 teaspoons medium-hot or mild chili powder
Salt and pepper
3 (or more) lemons, cut into wedges

Garlic Shrimp Directions

Preheat the oven to 425°.

Peel the shrimp except for the tails, then wash and dry them.

In a large oven-proof pan, heat the olive oil and butter and sauté the garlic for a few minutes. Add the spices and stir well to dissolve. Add the shrimp and the lemon wedges and toss, covering evenly with the oil and spices.

Place in the oven for 6–8 minutes. Do not overcook. Serve immediately.
