Liz Lambert's Chili Puree

Super easy

2 ancho chiles, stemmed, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 tomato, coarsely chopped
1/2 small yellow onion, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 pinches salt
1 teaspoons ground cumin
1 pounds cider vinegar
1 cups chicken stock

Liz Lambert's Chili Puree Directions

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook at a low simmer for 2 minutes, then cover, turn off heat and allow chilies to steep for 15 minutes. Transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.
