In 1909 the residents of Shiner, Texas didn’t strike gold. They struck water. And shortly thereafter, they learned that they could turn that water into some pretty tasty beer. From our humble beginnings, we’ve upheld the time-honored traditions of quality, independent brewing that put us on the map. Every drop of Shiner is still proudly brewed at the Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, TX, and today our little brewery sends more than 6 million cases of delicious beer to states across the country. As Texas’ oldest independent brewery, our brewers believe our commitment to craft is a difference you can taste, but we’ll gladly let you be the judge of that.
