Place the ginger slices and lime peel in a bottle or jar and fill with vodka.

Place in a cool, dark place for at least a week.

Taste for intensity of flavor. If a stronger flavor is desired, leave for another week or two at most.

Strain the ginger and lime peels and store in the refrigerator.
