Place the sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass and saturate with both bitters.

Add a splash of water and muddle until dissolved.

Rub the rim of the glass with the peel side of the orange twist, then twist it into the glass.

Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the Kooper Family Rye.

Stir for 15 seconds to dilute. Garnish with the orange slice.
